Hi my name is Patty and this is my first post on my blog. I would never have dreamed I would be doing this three years ago when my daughter first gave me some needles and wool as she thought I might enjoy a little knitting. I began slowly with squares which I had no idea what I was going to do with. After a Eureka moment they became a pram blanket for my new grandaughter and there was no stopping me!
My daughter gave me some Jean Greenhowe booklets and I have been knitting little people and animals ever since. Lots of them were given away, then because I received such good feed back I made some as special personal gifts. My sister then bought me an Alan Dart book which gave me even more to go at.
Now I have to have something on the go all the time to fill any empty moments in the day. I knit in quantity but not in great size as I like to see the results come together fairly quickly. Lately I have found I have a little collection gathering which prompted my daughter, who has her own cards and crafting blog, Ellephantastic Cards & Crafts, to ask if I would like to have my own blog.
